CFDs use leverage and can cause substantial losses. Margin is collateral, not the maximum amount that can be lost.

EXNESS / PRODUCT GUIDE

Exness Demo Account Trading

A demo account is useful only when its virtual balance, position sizes and rules resemble the live budget being considered. Exness demo accounts use virtual equity and broadly similar market conditions, but they cannot reproduce the emotional pressure, liquidity impact or every execution detail of trading real funds.

Create the right demo

Course context: This lesson belongs to a practical beginner curriculum for Pakistan.

  3. Choose Demo, currency, platform and leverage.
  4. Set virtual balance near the intended real budget.

Pass/fail scorecard

  • 100% of orders use calculated volume and written invalidation.
  • No password, server or symbol-suffix mistakes.
  • Every decision includes requested versus executed price.
  • Maximum drawdown remains within the pre-set threshold.
  • Rule compliance is at least the chosen acceptance level.
  • Results remain acceptable under stressed spread/slippage.

Demo limitations

Virtual money removes real financial consequences and can change behaviour. Demo fills and market depth may not reproduce every live outcome. Treat demo as a test of rules and platform competency, not proof of future profit. Start live—if legally and personally appropriate—at the smallest practical exposure.

Questions from a first-time learner

Does Exness offer a Standard Cent demo?

No. Current guidance says demo is available for every account type except Standard Cent.

Can an inactive demo account be restored?

No. Deleted demo accounts cannot be reactivated; create another one.

Does demo success prove live profitability?

No. It tests process and platform use but cannot reproduce every live behaviour or execution effect.

What virtual balance should I use?

Use an amount close to the real budget you would actually consider, not an artificially huge balance.
