Why an account will not log in
- The account is MT4 or Exness-platform based.
- The PA email was entered instead of the trading login.
- The PA password was used where a separate trading password applies.
- The wrong server was selected.
- The terminal build is unsupported.
- A read-only investor password was used.
Desktop-only advantages
MT5 desktop supports EAs, MQL5 scripts, compatible custom indicators, local logs and terminal-managed trailing stops. Web/mobile alternatives do not reproduce all these functions. Keep the desktop or VPS running for terminal-side automation and trailing behaviour.
