Correct login workflow
- Open WebTerminal from the official Exness platform page.
- Select the MT4 or MT5 tab matching the trading account.
- Enter the numeric trading login and trading password.
- Select the exact account server; MT5 requests it before continuing.
- Confirm the account number and balance after connection.
- Never use the Personal Area email as the MetaTrader login.
First demo order
| Step | Check |
|---|---|
| Choose symbol | Correct suffix and market-open status |
| Read specification | Contract size, minimum volume, margin and trading hours |
| Calculate volume | Cash risk based on stop distance |
| Set order | Type, volume, SL and optional TP |
| After fill | Requested versus executed price, spread and timestamp |
| Close/review | Commission, swap and final P/L in history |
When WebTerminal is the wrong tool
Choose desktop MetaTrader for an EA, script, third-party/custom MQL indicator, trailing stop, Signals or detailed local terminal logs. Choose MultiTerminal for supported MT4 multi-account management. Choose Exness Terminal only for compatible MT5/Exness-platform workflows; it is a separate web product.
Browser security and troubleshooting
- Bookmark the official platform URL rather than using search ads.
- Do not save a trading password on a shared computer.
- Log out and clear session data after public-device use.
- For invalid account, recheck platform, login, password and server.
- For missing symbols, reveal the correct suffix and check account specification.
