What you will be able to do
Course context: This lesson belongs to a practical beginner curriculum for Pakistan.
By the end of this route you should be able to identify the product you are trading, read an instrument specification, distinguish margin from maximum loss, calculate a position from a stop distance, place and modify an order, and explain every cost shown in the account history. A profitable demo balance is not the goal; a repeatable and correctly documented process is.

A sensible first account for learning
Exness creates a real Standard MT5 account and a demo Standard MT5 account after registration. Use the demo. Demo accounts use virtual equity and are available for all main account types except Standard Cent. A Standard MT5 demo avoids a separate commission line and gives a straightforward environment for learning orders and contract specifications.
Do not copy the very large default virtual balance into your position sizing. Use Set Balance to choose a figure close to the amount you could genuinely afford to allocate, while understanding that no demo result guarantees live execution or performance.
04
Your first controlled exercise
Choose EURUSD in the Standard MT5 demo.
Open Contract Specifications and record contract size, pip size and current trading status.
Set a hypothetical maximum loss of USD 2.
Choose a stop distance of 20 pips.
With an approximate USD 0.10 pip value for 0.01 lot, calculate about USD 2 price risk.
Place the demo order with SL and TP, then verify the actual spread and margin.
Close it manually and record whether the platform behaved as expected.
The numeric example is for learning. Currency conversion and the selected symbol can change pip value, so confirm the value in the trading calculator.
05
Do not move to live funds until these checks pass
You can log in without confusing Personal Area and trading-account credentials.
You can state the cash risk before clicking Buy or Sell.
You can explain why required margin is not the maximum possible loss.
You can identify spread, commission and swap in the relevant account.
You have at least 20 documented demo decisions, including skipped trades.
You have a written daily loss limit and stop-trading rule.

Questions from a first-time learner
Do I need to deposit to complete this course?
No. The core exercises use virtual equity in a demo account.
Does a successful 14-day demo prove I am ready?
No. It proves only that you can follow and document the workflow. Live execution, costs and emotions can differ.
Why start with MT5 rather than MT4?
MT5 is a practical default for a new learner. Use MT4 instead only when you specifically need an existing MQL4 tool or workflow.
What is the final test?
You must be able to reconstruct one demo trade from the rule, calculation, order ticket, cost and review notes.
