Performance numbers to distrust
Cumulative return can hide a large open loss, a short history or deposits and withdrawals. Require dated equity, maximum drawdown, exposure and complete closed/open positions. Strategies with the same currency or market direction can create hidden concentration even when their names differ.
Safe exit test
- Read what happens to open positions when copying stops.
- Check whether a fee is crystallised at exit.
- Use the smallest affordable test allocation.
- Stop the test under normal market conditions.
- Verify position treatment, wallet balance and withdrawal route.
- Keep the transaction and support records.
Do not follow outdated Exness tutorials
Pages that still tell users to select a strategy, choose an allocation and press Invest describe an unavailable workflow. Do not send funds to a person claiming to reopen Exness Copy Trading or create a private strategy.
