Risk comes first

CFDs use leverage and can cause substantial losses. Margin is collateral, not the maximum amount that can be lost.

EXNESS / PRODUCT GUIDE

How To Change Currency On Exness

Exness does not allow an existing trading account’s currency to be changed. The correct solution is to create another trading account in the same Personal Area with the required available currency, then close/manage positions and transfer or withdraw funds according to current conversion rules.

What can and cannot change

Course context: This lesson belongs to a practical beginner curriculum for Pakistan.

Migration workflow

  1. List open and pending orders on the old account.
  2. Choose the target currency based on deposits, withdrawals and P/L exposure.
  3. In My Accounts, select Open Account.
  4. Choose account type, platform, real/demo and the new currency.
  5. Record the conversion rate before transferring funds.
  6. Move only available funds; open exposure may constrain free margin.
  7. Verify the destination balance and keep both transaction records.

Pakistan currency note

PKR is listed among current account currencies for Standard, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero in the general specification, but actual availability belongs to the account-creation interface. Standard Cent uses cent-denominated currencies such as USC rather than PKR. Do not assume that choosing PKR removes every provider conversion.

Migration risk controls

Do not transfer margin that supports open positions. Internal conversion rate and available balance should be reviewed before confirmation. Keep enough free margin on the source until positions are closed, and do not delete/terminate the Personal Area merely to obtain another currency.

No. Trading-account currency is fixed after creation.

Must I register a new Exness Personal Area?

No. Create another trading account inside the existing PA.

Is PKR always available?

It appears in the general list for several account types, but confirm live availability during account creation.
